The start-up
GLEAM develops light electric vehicles that can run at speeds of up to 25 km/h and 45 km/h. The company can also provide software and battery swap solutions to set up a new express delivery system for groceries.
The need
| A new generation of consumers wish to make purchases online whenever they want and wherever they are. Many also require immediate delivery of within the hour (express delivery). So far, this has proved complex and inefficient to achieve. |
The solution
GLEAM sells narrow light electric vehicles that enable clients (e.g. food retailers) to make speedier deliveries to their consumers or customers. Tests have shown that GLEAM Cargo E-Bikes are up to 30% faster than ordinary delivery methods as they can use bike lanes and find parking spaces more easily in dense urban areas.
