SolarWorX win Digital Solar & Storage Startup Award

SolarWorX is the winner of the very first Startup Award by SolarPower Europe, which was presented in Munich, Germany on 4 December 2018. The competition aimed to find innovative solutions and business ideas among early-stage ventures for the solar industry and the InnoEnergy startup convinced the jury with their modular solar technology solution for rural communities in Africa.

Felix Boldt, CEO and Product Development Engineer, was particularly happy with this notion: “We didn’t expect to win this competition since the focus was quite strong on European topics, so we are even more honored to have received it. It was great to see that people in Europe care so much about African topics as well. We fight for seeing a young generation of Africans growing up in the presence of solar energy as their primary source of energy. The energy transition is global!”

The SolarPower Europe Startup Award is worth 5.000 €.
