Woon Duurzaam signs €700k of contracts at The Business Booster
Sustainable homes initiative secures investment from EIT InnoEnergy, DOEN Participaties and Mijndomein Energie
Investors include EIT InnoEnergy, Europe’s largest sustainable energy accelerator, DOEN Participaties an impact investor in sustainable and social start-ups, and Mijndomein Energie, which makes generating energy locally widely accessible.
Woon Duurzaam already has dozens of homeowners using its online service across the Netherlands. The company offers tailored advice and implementation solutions to improve the sustainability of homes, with the goal to make homes gas-free or even completely energy-neutral. The cost of these sustainability improvements can be spread over several years and is compensated by substantial energy bill savings.

About DOEN Participaties
DOEN Participaties has been investing in innovative, sustainable and socially inclusive start-ups for almost twenty-five years. It is the ambition of DOEN Participaties to make the world greener and more socially inclusive. For this reason, impact is central to all investments. As a new player on the energy market in the Netherlands, Mijndomein Energie fully focuses on the energy demand of the future. A future where people produce their own energy and share this energy among each other. At which energy is offered for purchase price and new products will reduce the energy bill of consumers even more.
An attractive and worry-free solution for a fossil free or energy neutral home fits well with this.
